There are people you should be careful,
Not to please.

One day a scorpion asked a frog;
To carry him on his back to cross a river.
The frog hesitated at first.
And said to the scorpion,
“If I carry you on my back,
You might sting me.”
The scorpion replied,
“Why would I?
If I do that, we will both drown.”
The reply seemed logical,
And the frog agreed.
But in the middle of the river,
The frog sensed a powerful stung.
And while they were both drowning,
The frog asked in astonishment,
“You convinced me that you wouldn’t sting me.”
Then, why did you do that?
The scorpion replied, as he was dying,
“I know that,
But!
It was my instinct.”
And they both drowned.
The moral of this story,
No matter how logical someone’s promises may seem,
Some people will never change.
If someone has a harmful personality,
Your kindness to them will not improve their condition.
In fact,
This person may be the reason for hurting you because of that.
Be compassionate.
But wisely choose who you trust.
There are people you should be careful,
Not to please.
