TODAYS SONG

LEAVE IT TO GOD

Leave it to God,

Just keep moving forward!

Smile and laugh at the world,

Don’t ask questions—rejoice in your youth.

Why waste even a second of your life

In pain or complaining of your suffering?

The world is a mirror; when I smile into it,

It smiles back, and its nights grow bright and serene.  Tend to your work, and leave the rest to God—

Yes, leave it all to God.

The wise person pursues their livelihood,

And through their own effort,

finds true contentment;

But the foolish one

Suffers the consequences of their own recklessness,  Walking headlong into their own undoing.

So, leave it to God—

And take this to heart!

Peace be upon the earth and good will be upon the people
