There was a Coptic community abroad Egypt who had piece of land they bought to build
a church on. When they decided to build, the technical committee responsible for the
project discovered that the lot of land was at a lower level than the road. When they
contacted the municipality asking it to raise the land to the required level, they were
learned the cost for such demand is one million sterling pounds… This, in addition to the
construction cost of the Church of another one million sterling pounds, made the
community seriously consider selling the land and looking for another location…
On taking a decision, the community was split into two parties. The first supported the
sale, and the second refused, believing that this location had many advantages that were
difficult to give it up. Here, this party won by suggesting to being patient until they raise
the required funds, which were two million sterling pounds.
One day, after the project lost its priority, the file collecting dust on the shelf of archives
and almost forgotten, the community received a call from the municipality asking their
permission to move the grinded concrete of the broken blocks of an old bridge nearby
that they had decided to demolish and replace it by a new one near their lot of land. The
city offered the community an amount of two million sterling pounds… And so, by
accepting the offer, the project was miraculously revived and achieved without any costs
from the part of the community but as gift of heaven for those who believe and have faith
in God.
